There are four levels of tennis classes taught by PEAP.
- Designed for the student who has limited or no tennis skills. This course emphasizes proper techniques (forehand, backhand, serve, and volley) as well as basic rules. The skills are acquired through drills and games. There is a limited amount of match play. The grade is based on skill tests and a written examination.
- Advanced Beginning
- Those students that played middle school, freshman or JV tennis as well as the avid recreational player will fit into this class. Time will be spent refining technique and also playing matches.
- This class is designed for the high school varsity athlete that is used to tournament competition. The grade is based on match play in both singles and doubles a skills test and a written examination.
- This class is designed for the superchamp or high level champ players. 4.5 to open level players are suited for this class. Admission to the class is dependent upon instructor approval. Grades will be determined by skill tests, tournament play and a written examination.
